GrandCon’s 11th Show!

GrandCon is gearing up for gaming fun and fellowship Labor Day weekend, September 2025. And, as always, we appreciate your support of our family community hobby gaming convention.

We encourage attendees to wear a mask in the vendor-gaming areas during the convention. However, this is not a requirement.

Game Masters will be able to submit events starting March 1st, 2025 and that window will remain open until August 1st, 2025. Event tickets or signups will be open to the public starting July 15th, 2025.

What is GrandCon

GrandCon is Michigan’s premiere regional tabletop gaming convention held every year in the beautiful city of Grand Rapids. It’s a weekend (3 full days) experience and a place where several aspects of the hobby gaming industry are represented under one roof. We celebrate by playing board games, card games, miniature games, role-playing games, mingling with guests of the industry and community, and shopping vendors. Our goal is to create a Fun-For-All-Ages event!

Things to do

As an attendee, you are able to participate in ticketed-scheduled events which can include: Cosplay, Charity Events, Paint and Take (paint a miniature and take it home), Learn to Play Games, Live Entertainment, MEGA Games, Role Playing Games, Seminars, Tournaments, and Workshops.

Shop exhibitors for their wonderful wares, Mingle with guests of the industry and community, play games from our very own library spanning over 2500 titles, and all this for purchasing a badge - come have a Grand time all weekend.

Show off your knowledge and skills by being a GM (Game Master) or teacher of games, and possibly earn yourself a badge. Make sure to read more about GM’ing on our Game Master page.

Volunteer for GrandCon itself. Dedicate time to make it shine for all of us, and get some awesome perks along the way. You make it happen!

Who can come

The show is for anyone, meaning everyone is invited to come and experience a weekend of exploring the hobby gaming industry which can include: Playing games, teaching games (GM’ing), being taught games, shopping exhibitors, attending panels and/or live entertainment, and volunteering.
